Rough Week

I haven't posted in several days because we have been busy with some family issues. Last Monday Curt's 11 year old nephew, Jacob, passed away. He had cerebral palsy and dealt with many complications, including breathing problems. He was such a sweetheart and always ready to give you a big smile. It's going to be sad without him. Wednesday and Thursday we were at the funeral home with Curt's family. Friday night we invited Curt's sister and Jacob's mom, Andrea, and her family to the Independence Day Festival downtown to watch fireworks. We thought it would help them to get out of the house and have a little fun for Rachel and James, their two remaining children. It was a fun evening despite the circumstances.
